SHOW NOTES

• This was the first show in Poland.
• The band was not very well received, possibly because of their make-up and weird appearance at that time. You could hear offensive words in polish among the fans. The crowd was only reacting when Daron was chanting ‘Slayer!’. During their last song which was dedicated to Polish fans, Serj got hit with bagel and loose change. He started screaming at the crowd and then left the stage. Serj: “We were enduring the hate until something hit me in the face. It looked like a croissant with cream cheese. I said to turn the lights on and I found that dick in the crowd. I pointed my finger on him and started screaming that he’s a pussy. I realised the same moment that those people were freed from communism just a while ago and don’t like when somebody is screaming at them. The room went all quiet, I felt incredibly weird and we left the stage.”
• System Of A Down wanted to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau holocaust museum together with Slayer the next day, but because of poor reception during the show they decided not do so.
